I FINALLY GOT IT DONE YEAH
and done one hundred precent with my fingers too
and I know that I said he was going to be gray, but the app I used was glitching and turning all the grays in to blues. So he is temporarily brown. ,-, I swear I will redo this the first chance I get omg

{ Key }
Key description: Tempest's key is a tarnished golden key with two smoky blue ribbons threaded through the top. On the side is a cloudlike design welded on to the original key. The ribbons are somewhat tattered and get stained with mud and blood, so he makes it a routine to clean them out of respect for his key. Instead of using the ribbons to tie it around his neck, he threads a dried reed through the same opening that the ribbons are tied to.
Key power: His key gives him the power to make it rain for short periods of time in a small radius - a quarter of the territory at max. The larger the range of the key-induced rainstorm, the lighter the rain will be. (Example - if the rainstorm is at maximum radius, it will be a light drizzle instead of a regular rain.) This helps him in battle only in instances with intruders who don't know how to function on slippery rocks. He doesn't have the greatest control over his key powers, as even though he is a taught-key, sometimes his powers activate when he is feeling intense emotion.

{ Appearance }
Tempest is a gray-brown tabby with bright, storm-green eyes. His mudlike pelt color helps him blend in on the banks of the river in Duali-key territory. This tom is slightly larger than an average male, giving him a slight sense of authority. His nose and paw-pads are dark brown, close to black. The strange color of his eyes also set him apart, even though green eyes are fairly common in the Duali-keys.

{ History }
Kithood
Originally named Oak, Tempest was a quiet, curious kit, always sneaking around and wanting to know everything his colony-mates were doing. He grew up in the Uni-keys, and he quickly found he was not as independent and self-sustaining as his littermates. When he was about six moon cycles old, his father died during a border scuffle - it had been raining, and he had slipped on the ground and fallen on to the sharp edge of a stone. His mother did not cope with the death well and Oak and his siblings had to be taken care of by another cat until they were sent to the clock-tower.
Trainee-key
The first of his siblings to go to the clock-tower, Oak was nervous before he went in to massive structure. Once he went in, though, his nervousness faded away as he found his key sitting in plain sight on the top of a pile in the back corner of the tower. Coming out of the tower, he realized the way he thought about things didn't match up with the way the Uni-keys thought. After a moment of stargazing and quick thoughts, he made his way to the Duali-key's territory.
He was welcomed in to his new colony. There he realized he really did think like a Duali-key - he was cautious about using his key, and his morality was strong. He definitely fit in to his new home, and he made his way through his training. During this time, an outbreak of sickness swept through his colony. Tempest, having found his new name once he used his powers in front of another cat, fell ill. His training was temporarily paused, and he worked hard to make up for lost time and was able to pass on to the status of Trained-key.
Taught-key
Tempest lived like a normal Taught-key, hunting and patrolling for the borders for his colony. This was about the time when Sear shocked everyone by becoming Second-key, and Tempest began seeing her as a role model. He worked extra-hard for the Duali-keys and began to gain the respect of his colony-mates. During this time, the Duali-keys began to bicker more than usual with the Uni-keys. This finally escalated in to a battle, and during the conflict the First-key was killed in the fighting. It was after the battle, with the scratches on his pelt still stinging, Tempest was selected for Second-key.
Second-key
Tempest continues to try to contribute to his colony in any way he can. He was so honored to be selected for Second-key and he hopes he can live up to his colony-mates' standards. Once he becomes First-key, he hopes to lead the Duali-keys in to a peaceful, prosperous future... { this section is still tba }

The slim tom crouches in the halflight, striped ear flicking as a small raindrop lands on it. Curling his tail in the air above his head, Tempest stalks toward the small mouse. Paws slipping silently over the fallen leaves, he tenses his back legs to pounce. Narrowing his eyes, he rockets forward and slams his paws on the creature, bending down to neatly bite its neck. Taking the prey in his teeth, he straightens up and gazes around.}
